Product Designer & Project Manager
I turn complex problems into products people actually use.
Started in medical device design — physical products, clinical environments, high stakes, tight constraints. Over time the problems shifted from what it looks like to how it works, pulling the work deeper into software: interaction design, UX research, surgical planning interfaces, VR clinical training. It wasn't a pivot. Same human-centered process, increasingly complex systems. Physical constraints became technical ones. The user wasn't just holding the product anymore — they were inside it. That evolution is the most useful thing on my resume. I can sit with an engineer and understand what's buildable, work with a clinician and understand what's usable, and design something that satisfies both.
Selected Work
Mimics Enlight
Structural heart planning software used by cardiologists worldwide. Led UX and design for automated segmentation and 3D modeling tools supporting TAVR, MITRAL, and LAA procedures.

VR Life Support Training Application
A VR training platform for ECMO therapy built at Elm Park Labs, giving critical care teams a realistic, repeatable simulation environment for one of medicine's highest-risk procedures. Led product management and UX end-to-end — from shadowing perfusionists and ICU nurses through spatial interface design and procedural flow.

Designed a HIPAA-compliant OR communication platform that replaced pagers and hallway handoffs with a patient-centered feed. Role-specific messaging, four accountability states (Delivered → Read → Acknowledged → Acted Upon), and 13 surgical trigger states gave care teams a shared, legally defensible language for the full surgical day.

Henry Ford Model G™
Led design, development, and licensing of the Model G patient gown at Henry Ford Health System. Recognized by Crain's Detroit Business 40 Under 40 and winner of the Edison Award.
