StatChat, a HIPAA-compliant care-team messaging and patient-tracking app, came out of three years of research and design at Henry Ford Innovations. It was piloted with clinical teams at Henry Ford Health System, then launched commercially in 2017 as CareTrail with VisionIT. CathNav is a bedside concept for placing external ventricular drains (EVDs). It pairs a mobile app and image mapping with a smart catheter guide.
