Started in medical device design — physical products, clinical environments, high stakes, tight constraints. Over time the problems shifted from what it looks like to how it works, pulling the work deeper into software: interaction design, UX research, surgical planning interfaces, VR clinical training. Fourteen years across healthcare, automotive, and emerging technology — and the full range of design disciplines along the way, from graphic design and web design to CAD and 3D prototyping. It wasn't a pivot. Same human-centered process, increasingly complex systems. Physical constraints became technical ones. The user wasn't just holding the product anymore — they were inside it. That evolution is the most useful thing on my resume. I can sit with an engineer and understand what's buildable, work with a clinician and understand what's usable, and design something that satisfies both.
