Cardiovascular Research

Five years of structural heart research, and the clinical software and training tools that grew out of it. At Henry Ford Health, I developed patient-specific 3D modeling and printing methods for sizing heart devices and planning procedures. That work led to patents, and I licensed the software to Materialise, where it informed Mimics Enlight. I then spent three years at Materialise leading UX and interaction design for Mimics Enlight. At Elm Park Labs, I owned UX research and product design for a VR simulator that lets ICU teams rehearse ECMO procedures without risk to patients.
